Kalmunai Municipal Council selected for national level assessment.
Kalmunai Municipal Corporation has qualified for the National Level Assessment of 
Performance of Local Government Organizations for the year 2023. Out of 45 local 
councils in Eastern Province, 09 councils have been selected for the above national 
level evaluation competition. Among them, Kalmunai Municipal Council has been selected 
for the national level competition by getting points.

It is noteworthy that the assessment at the provincial level was conducted by 
independent arbitrators under the supervision of the General Administration Internal 
Affairs Provincial Councils and the Ministry of Local Government and the Eastern Province 
Local Government Department.
